Puppy Cant Eat Because Of His Damaged Throat, Then A Chair Miraculously Saves His Life

After Eli was born, he was much smaller than the rest of his litter. His parents at the time werent sure what was wrong, but something certainly was.

When veterinarians took a closer look at an X-ray, they saw that there was a ring around Elis esophagus that was preventing solid food from getting down into his stomach. Small amounts of milk were able to trickle through, but the muscles werent strong enough to push solids through the obstruction.

With the lack of nutrition and calcium, Eli also broke his leg during one of his vet visits when he took a leap from one of the vet techs arms.

This poor pup was not doing well at all, needless to say. Elis original parents couldnt maintain the rigorous liquid feedings that the poochrequired to stay alive, and had to give him up. Luckily for Eli, one of the vet techs at the office, Savannah, fell in love with him, and adopted him.

After multiple surgeries, Eli wasnt showing any signs of improvement, and Savannah was left to make a difficult decision. Does she put him through more surgeries that aren’t a guaranteed fix? Does she end his miserable, hungry existence? Or does she dedicate herself to feeding him five times a day in a high chair.

Clearly, Savannah chose the last option, and Eli has improved so much after just a short trial of this method of feeding him. Instead of his muscles pushing the food down, gravity helps the meal reach his stomach.

Plus, he looks pretty darn adorable sitting in his chair like that!
