You might not think thatdogs, cats, and ducklings could get along, butRoxy, Edith, Mia, Rose, Jake, Gertrude and Donald prove that it’s not only possible, but that they can also be inseparable.
They were adopted by Kasey Boggs and her husband, Blake, who have been rescuing animals for a decade.
It all started when Kasey spotted three-month-old Toy Fox Terrier, Roxy, in a pet store window. She learned she didnt have a hip joint, a deformity common in puppy mill babies, and took her home to nurse her to health.
From there Boggs went on to rescue two Pit Bulls, Jake and Rosie, both of which had spent their lives locked up in a crate or forced or fight.
Theres also Edith, a Rat Terrier Italian Greyhound mix, who joined the pack after being foundby the Humane Society in a cold, dark alley lying on her dead mother and littermates to keep warm.
Topping off the four-legged friendsis Mia, the adventurous cat without a tail who evenhits the trail and goes hiking with the family.
As for the ducks, Boggs initially wanted chickens, but didn’t feel the connection she did with the cuddly, expressive ducks.
